Front End Developer

Chase Recruitment has an opportunity for an experienced Front End Developer to join a successful SaaS company - a leading provider of cloud-based software with a portfolio of B2B & B2C products. Alongside UX Designers and Product Owners you will take the lead in designing best-in-class user journeys through a fast-evolving front-end codebase.

The Role

  • Working as part of a team of passionate Web Developers
  • Development of existing and new products, some that already have a worldwide audience
  • Working under an experienced Front End Developer to plan and implement engaging UX designs
  • Managing your own UX tasks as well as developing in HTML, CSS and front end JS frameworks

About You

  • As passionate as the team you'll be joining
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, comfortable with deadlines
  • Be organised and self-motivated
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS3 nad REACT
  • Native javascript and basic knowledge of jQuery
  • Experience of versioning software such as GIT
  • knowledge of package managers and build tools, e.g. NPM and WebPack
  • Experience using Adobe XD would be great
  • Experience of working in an Agile environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating beautiful products using REACT, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Maintain and enhance existing products
  • Write clean and precise code
  • Optimise web pages for maximum speed, scalability and to basic SEO standards
  • Create animations and transitions to enhance design and the UX

The role is offered fully remote, but being able to attend meetings in the office and be a part of the team would be perfect.
