Residential Support Worker Children

Residential Support Worker Children job, £20,000, plus an additional £2,500 per annum for sleeps, with a supportive, family-feel team, Huddersfield.

Chase Recruitment are working with a close knit, family feel children's care provider who are looking for qualified Residential Support Workers to join their supportive team. Our client strives to provide a homely and safe environment for EBD children in their care and they are looking for qualified Support Workers to join them to provide outstanding care to children.

The ideal Residential Support Worker will have:

  • Level 3 Health and Social Care for children and young adults.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience working with EBD children.
  • Valid Driving License and willingness to drive.

The duties of the Residential Support Worker include but are not limited to:

  • To fulfil their health and educational needs.
  • Ensure the home is always Ofsted ready and prepare to respond to all requirements.
  • Achieve and maintain an Ofsted rating of at least Good, with an Outstanding rating always being the goal.
  • Ensure quality assurance compliance with Ofsted requirements and internal and external monitoring arrangements.
  • To manage the children's individual support packages to ensure that they continue to be relevant and responsive to the individuals' needs and wishes.
