Registered Manager for a Children's Home - Telford - £40,000 starting salary with flexible working.

Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Registered OFSTED Manager for a brand-new Children home based in Telford.

Our client provides children and young people from 8-18 years of age with EBD with a safe and nurturing home where they can work toward reaching their full potential.

Registered Managers must have previous experience of managing a successful OFSTED registered children home with either a good or outstanding OFSTED rating.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Overseeing OFSTED visits and audits
  • Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
  • Ensure the positive development of young people in their care
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team
  • Managing staff welfare, staff absence etc
  • Budget management, including home budgeting estimates
  • Risk Assessments, Care Plans, and Health & Safety Checks

Registered Managers will have:

  • A level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working as a Registered Manager with children
  • A strong knowledge of care standards including child protection issues and working with EBD children
