Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Registered Manager for a Learning Difficulties Children home based in Wythenshawe, Manchester.
Registered Managers must have previous experience of managing a successful OFSTED registered children home with either a good or outstanding OFSTED rating.
This is an established 4 bed home for children and young adults up to the age of 16 requiring support with Learning Difficulties. The home is settled and has two experienced deputy managers and senior RCW's in place.
Duties include:-
- Overseeing OFSTED visits and audits
- Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
- Ensure the positive development of young people in their care
- Through the use of the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people
- Providing leadership and guidance to a new team
- Managing staff welfare, staff absence etc
- Budget management, including home budgeting estimates
- Managing Pathways, Risk Assessments, Care Plans, and Health & Safety Checks
Registered Managers will have:-
- A level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
- A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Registered Manager with children
- A strong knowledge of care standards including child protection issues and working with LD and complex care.
