Children Home Manager - £45k basic salary, £5k performance related bonus and £1k Welcome bonus - Hebden Bridge.

Due to internal promotion, Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Registered Manager for a residential children home based in Hebden Bridge.

Successful applicants must have previous experience of managing a successful OFSTED registered residential children home with either a good or outstanding rating.

Duties include:-

  • Overseeing OFSTED visits and audits
  • Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
  • Ensure the positive development of young people in their care
  • Through the use of the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team
  • Managing staff welfare, staff absence etc

Registered Manager will have:-

  • Ideally a level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) or a willingness to complete with in two years of employment
  • Must hold a level 3 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years experience working as a Registered Manager with children
  • A strong knowledge of care standards including child protection issues and some experience of working with CSE would be advantageous.
