Registered OFTSED Manager - Excellent basic salary starting from £55k - Brighton and Hove

Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Registered OFSTED Manager for a new Children home based in Brighton and Hove.

Our client is willing to offer an industry leading minimum basic salary of £55,000 per annum.

Successful applicants must have previous experience of managing a successful OFSTED registered children homes with either a good or outstanding rating.

This is a new role working with children and young adults up to the age of 18, with most requiring support with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Duties include:-

  • Overseeing OFSTED visits and audits
  • Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
  • Ensure the positive development of young people in their care
  • Through the use of the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team
  • Managing staff welfare, staff absence etc
  • Budget management, including home budgeting estimates
  • Managing Pathways, Risk Assessments, Care Plans, and Health & Safety Checks

Successful applicants will have:-

  • A level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
  • A minimum of 4 years experience working as a Registered Manager with children
  • A strong knowledge of care standards including child protection issues and working with EBD children
  • A can-do, approachable manner
