Registered Manager - Sheffield based children's home, £32k upwards dependent on experience
Chase Recruitment are working with a newly established company, who provide children and young people with exceptional care and support to find a Registered Manager to join their team. You will be part of a community of loving people, dedicated to supporting and caring for young individuals. As the Registered Manager you will:
- Be an inspirational leader to our Team Leaders and RSWs by supporting the induction of staff, ongoing training, managing performance, allocation of duties and responsibilities, managing shifts, record keeping and reports, budgets, petty cash, staff deployment and day to day supervision and oversight of the staff and young people.
- Ensure that records such as care plans, risk assessments and anti-bullying plans are updated and reviewed.
Work with the management team to ensure that we achieve and maintain an OFSTED rating of good or outstanding.
Be passionate, professional, and highly adaptable.
- Be committed to delivering exceptional outcomes for our children.
- Have unwavering honesty and integrity.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a position relevant to the residential care of children.
- Have at least two years in a role supervising staff.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
Level 5 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or be prepared to acquire within 2 years).
Full driving licence is essential.
- To be able to provide consistency of care and support to the young people.
- Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour.
- Flexibility around the rota, covering when needed.
If you are currently a Deputy Manager we need you to have at least 1 year in the role, your Level 3 Diploma in Residential Care and being ready to start Level 5 we would like to hear from you.
