Registered Manager - Basic salary up to £52k - Nuneaton - 5 bed children's residential home located on a beautiful purpose built site.

Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Registered Manager for a new Children home based in Nuneaton, North Warwickshire.

Our client provides children and young people with a safe and nurturing residential home where they can work toward reaching their full potential. Their primary objective is to provide high quality care in a warm, and a welcoming and nurturing environment that meets the needs of individual children and young people.

As the Registered Manager you will hold dual registration and have 2 Home Managers reporting directly into you.

Duties include, but are not limited to:-

  • Providing leadership and direction to the Home Managers
  • Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
  • Ensure the positive development of staff and young people under your management
  • Overseeing staff development and improving the skills base within your team
  • Ensure effective multi-agency working with professionals

Successful applicants must have:-

  • A level 5 diploma in residential Childcare or equivalent (would consider applicants who have commenced study)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Registered Manager of a children's residential home
  • At least 5 years leadership experience
  • Successful management of an OFSTED 'Good' or 'Outstanding' children home
  • Superior knowledge of care standards including child protection issues
