OFSTED Registered Manager EBD - £40k-£50k - Brighton and Hove - Great benefits and bonus - Would consider an experienced deputy manager

Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Registered Manager for a Children home based in Brighton and Hove.

Successful applicants will ideally have previous experience of managing a successful OFSTED registered children homes with either a good or outstanding rating.

This is a role working with children and young adults up to the age of 18, with most requiring support with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Duties include:-

  • Overseeing OFSTED visits and audits
  • Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
  • Ensure the positive development of young people in their care
  • Through the use of the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people
  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team
  • Managing staff welfare, staff absence etc
  • Budget management, including home budgeting estimates

Registered Managers will have:-

  • A level 5 or equivalent qualification in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People)
  • A minimum of 4 years experience working in a senior role with children in a residential home setting
  • A strong knowledge of OFSTED care standards including child protection issues and working with EBD children
  • A can-do, approachable manner
