Registered Manager CQC - 20 bedded care home - Salary circa £40k - Wakefield - Progression and opportunity for growth

Our client are looking for a talented and experienced Registered Manager who is inspiring and passionate about their role.

They specialise in providing support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health and complex needs through person centred care.

The Registered Manager will manage the day to day running of a 20 bedded service, including line management and personal development of employees.

Registered Manager will:

  • Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders, including local authorities, families, internal/external contacts and the community

  • Ensure service's standards are maintained high, in line with current legislation, meeting CQC requirements and other regulation and compliance benchmarks

  • Provide leadership, management and support to the team and the wider group

  • Seek opportunities to promote business growth and continually look to improve existing services, ensuring issues are identified and resolved promptly

Registered Manager must have:

  • Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent

  • A minimum of three year's experience of working at management level with in an LD provision

  • Excellent knowledge of regulatory responsibilities and willingness to undertake the Registered Manager application process with CQC

  • Thorough understanding of safeguarding procedures and processes

  • The ability to manage and develop a team
