North Territory - Key Account Manager

Salary £50,000 - £60,000 plus comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, life plus excellent pension)

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global pharmaceutical company engaged in research, development and manufacturing of products at the forefront of their field.

The creation of this new role is integral to the success of a new product launch and will be a core member of a cross functional team providing customer facing market access and account management expertise.

A large business with a family-feel and a flat structure, the role will suit an experienced business development manager looking to take full accountability in an open and honest environment.

The Role - Key Account Manager

  • Development and maintenance of assets such as value propositions, budget impact models and payer marketing materials
  • Utilise tools and assets to deliver both promotional and non-promotional customer facing interactions with customers across the UK to optimise local market access and solve barriers to patient access
  • Implementation of innovate value based contracting, commercial agreements and collaborative working to maximise pricing and access outcomes
  • Collaborate with the cross-functional team to identify areas where customer and patient access to our medicines should be improved
  • Work with the cross functional team and the Integrated Care Specialist to create and align value propositions to improve patient and customer experience

The Person

  • Have previous market access experience across local health economies
  • Able to demonstrate success in commercial roles within the pharmaceutical industry
  • Experience of strategic planning and Key Account Management
  • Successful track record of securing improved patient access to treatments
