Are you an experienced 1st Line Support Technician looking to build your career with a market-leading and innovative established FMCG business?
Chase Recruitment has an opportunity with a successful, and growing company, joining a team with a positive culture and working collaboratively with teams across England and Ireland. Your role may include involvement and development of new projects and services.
The Application Support Analyst will be a member of the IT Solutions Delivery Team working alongside colleagues to provide second- and third-line applications support.
The Role
- Work as part of the IT Applications Team to support the full portfolio of applications.
- Take ownership of tickets assigned by the IT Service Desk and follow through to resolution.
- Escalate tickets to other members of the team when necessary.
- Work with other members of the IT Applications Team on complex problems and projects.
- Provide on-site support at locations in the UK and Ireland as part of a regular schedule of visits.
- Travel will be required most weeks and will include occasional overnight stays.
Technical Skills
The portfolio of applications covers everything from ERP (QAD) - Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance, Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.), Recipe Management, HR, and many more.
Your Experience
- 1st Line Support experience
- A structured approach to problem-solving
- Technical aptitude
- Good interpersonal skills
- Self confidence
- An ability and desire to learn new technical skills
Desirable
- Degree, HNC, or HND in an IT-related subject
- Experience of Software Development
- Microsoft Office 365 including Teams & SharePoint
- ERP - ideally QAD
- Support ticket systems
