IT Application Support Analyst

Successful FMCG business

Hybrid role - based in Fakenham

Role includes travel in England and Ireland

Are you an experienced 1st Line Support Technician looking to build your career with a market-leading and innovative established FMCG business?

Chase Recruitment has an opportunity with a successful, and growing company, joining a team with a positive culture and working collaboratively with teams across England and Ireland. Your role may include involvement and development of new projects and services.

The Application Support Analyst will be a member of the IT Solutions Delivery Team working alongside colleagues to provide second- and third-line applications support.

The Role

  • Work as part of the IT Applications Team to support the full portfolio of applications.
  • Take ownership of tickets assigned by the IT Service Desk and follow through to resolution.
  • Escalate tickets to other members of the team when necessary.
  • Work with other members of the IT Applications Team on complex problems and projects.
  • Provide on-site support at locations in the UK and Ireland as part of a regular schedule of visits.
  • Travel will be required most weeks and will include occasional overnight stays.

Technical Skills

The portfolio of applications covers everything from ERP (QAD) - Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance, Microsoft Office 365 (including Teams, SharePoint, Power Automate, etc.), Recipe Management, HR, and many more.

Your Experience

  • 1st Line Support experience
  • A structured approach to problem-solving
  • Technical aptitude
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Self confidence
  • An ability and desire to learn new technical skills

Desirable

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in an IT-related subject
  • Experience of Software Development
  • Microsoft Office 365 including Teams & SharePoint
  • ERP - ideally QAD
  • Support ticket systems
