Deputy Manager for Hyde, Manchester based Children Home - Circa £36k basic, plus superb benefits package on offer and outstanding professional development and support

Chase Recruitment are working in partnership with an established residential care home for children with the recruitment of a Deputy Manager. The children residential home is based in Hyde, Manchester.

The children home accommodates young people with social, emotional and mental health needs and is part of an integrated therapeutic provision.

Our client are looking to recruit a Deputy Manager based in or around Hyde, Manchester who ideally has experience working for an OFSTED 'Good' or 'Outstanding' children home.

The job duties include:-

  • Ensuring good quality practice in Residential care and education
  • Supporting with the positive development of young people in care
  • Working closely with the community, supporting the social and learning aspects of young people
  • Supporting the RM with leadership and guidance to the team
  • Managing staff welfare, staff absence etc
  • Ensuring the home is Health and Safety compliant

They need to be enthusiastic, resilient and good with people. They should also have an ability to inspire, develop and support team members.

A full UK driving license is essential for the role.
