Chase Recruitment are working in partnership on the recruitment of a Deputy Manager for a new Children home based in Nuneaton, North Warwickshire.
Our client provides children and young people with a safe and nurturing residential home where they can work toward reaching their full potential. Their primary objective is to provide high quality care in a warm, and a welcoming and nurturing environment that meets the needs of individual children and young people.
Although we are looking for a Deputy Manager, your title will be Home manager and you will be reporting direct to a Registered Manager who has dual registration.
Duties include, but are not limited to:-
- Providing leadership and direction to the home's team
- Establishing and maintaining good quality practice in Residential care and education
- Ensure the positive development of young people
- Overseeing staff development and improving the skills base with the home
- Ensure effective multi-agency working with professionals
Successful applicants must have:-
- A level 3 diploma in residential Childcare or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a children's residential home
- At least 1 years leadership experience
- A strong knowledge of care standards including child protection issues
