We are currently looking for a Care Coordinator to work both as part of a team and individually to make sure that service users are receiving care of the highest quality. This is a full-time office-based role with a brilliant bonus scheme in place for the right individual.
You'll be an invaluable part of a team, involved with the supervision and development of your staff. The role will require you to be flexible in your work, ready and willing to step in and support your colleagues and other departments in a hands-on capacity if necessary.
On a daily basis, your duties as a Care Coordinator would include:
- Creating and managing the weekly rota for the branch
- First point of call for any queries or support required for care staff
- Supervising Care Workers and Senior Care Workers, developing and mentoring those under you
- Liaising with Social Workers, District Nurses, Doctors and family members to ensure our clients' needs are met
- Staff compliance such as staff supervisions/appraisals
- On call duties as per rota
To qualify for this Care Coordinator position, you will need:
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet daily and weekly deadlines
- Attention to detail and ability to make quick-fire decisions
- Experience in a similar role is essential
- Full Driving Licence and access to own vehicle
