Registered Manager - East Sussex - Up to £38k and great benefits

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a career minded individual looking for their next step in care with a position as a Registered Manager position in a care home within the Eastbourne area.

You will play an instrumental role in the development and growth of a warm and friendly business; this is a fantastic opportunity to manage and develop a service.

We are looking for a passionate and driven individual to run the service and lead a team with the support of the directors, putting the patients' needs at the heart of all you do.

As the Care Manager, your role will be to ensure CQC requirements are met at all times and compliance is properly adhered to.

As a Registered Manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for rota planning, scheduling, recruitment and training of staff
  • Ensure the delivery of quality, person-centred care to improve their quality of life
  • Ensure that the home meets regulatory and statutory requirements including fire, health and safety, COSHH RIDDOR, employment
  • Support with business development opportunities
  • Maintain up to date with CQC guidance and other regulating bodies to improve the service
  • Increase revenue for the business by achieving the highest possible occupancy levels.

The ideal Care Manager will have:

  • Will be qualified to at least level 4 - Level 5 would be desirable but not essential
  • Two or more years' experience in a management position in a care home environment
  • Comprehensive understanding of CQC inspections
  • Experience of care planning and managing user records
