We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Test Development Engineer to build their full stack engineering skill base with an innovative global electronics company in West Yorkshire.
Chase Recruitment is working in partnership with an established company that sets the gold-standard of design and manufacture of products in its sector, with this unique opportunity.
You will deliver a working test solution as part of NPI process in time for first manufacturing run. You'll produce manufacturing test plans for automated testing of new products, including, hardware, firmware and software feature requirements.
You'll write both backend and GUI code for automated testing, and work with the hardware team in testing prototypes to ensure successful product manufacture
The Role
- To design, build and deploy complete test solutions for manufacturing
- Test systems range from board-level test to end-of-line product test
- To provide technical support for users of the test systems
Your Experience
- Ability to code in a range of scripting languages
- Ability to code using GUI platforms
- Control 12c devices at hardware level
- Understand component data sheets
- back end and/or front end coding experience would be desirable
