School Site Manager - Up to £26,500 - Outstanding MAT based in Sheffield

An Outstanding Multi-Academy Trust based in Sheffield is looking to recruit a Site Manager on a permanent basis.

The Site Manager will be responsible for:-

  • General maintenance and repair of building

  • Management of the cleaning team

  • Security of the school building

  • Heating and lighting

  • School ground management and maintenance

  • Key holder - locking and unlocking premises

  • Risk assessments

  • Liaising with emergency services

  • Maintaining fire alarms and extinguishers

  • Managing all building utilities

  • Coordinating and supervising assistant caretakers

The role requires a varied skill set and although a relevant caretaker qualification would be advantageous, it isn't essential as training will be provided.

Key skills and attributes required:-

  • Experience as a caretaker and site management
  • Security system knowledge
  • Experience supervising staff
  • Knowledge on building regulations and statutory requirements
  • Experience of minor repairs and familiar with power tools
  • Good communication skills
  • Friendly, motivated and a team player
