Our client based in Birmingham are providing innovative and bespoke packages of care to some of the most vulnerable people in the area who are experiencing a degree of learning disability and enduring mental health issues. Many will have been in long term institutional placements and will require an extended period of readjustment to community living - this is where their services come in.
Service users will have a tailored care package to support their return to living within local communities in a supportive setting, with staff being involved developing their confidence and ability to live as independently as possible.
Our client is looking for a Registered Scheme Manager based in Birmingham to facilitate the everyday running of this Birmingham scheme for the service users and employees.
You will have the following:-
- Be eligible to be registered with CQC as a Registered Manager
- A professional qualification in Social Work OR First/Second Level Nursing OR Occupational Therapy AND QCF Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People Services
- Ability to plan and organise workload to achieve deadline
- Solution focused approach
- Committed and passionate about delivering a person centred approach
- Knowledge of and experience of working to CQC regulations and requirements
- Experience on health/mental health or learning disability services to adults
