Chase Recruitment is seeking a talented Registered Care Home Manager for an exciting new role. As the Registered Manager you will be responsible to the Head of Care for the group. You will ensure good quality practice in your role and will work to promote and develop life skills in children and young people.
This is a demanding but rewarding role which requires a special, kind and hardworking individual who thrives on seeing others grow and progress.
As a Registered Care Manager you will:-
- Protect children and young people from threats to health and welfare
- Use the residential community as means of support and learning for children and young people
- Manage procedures, policies and activities to ensure positive and enjoyable experiences
- Develop and work to Care plans
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with social workers, teaching staff and any other relevant agencies
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff
- Support on appraisals and management of staff
- Train and mentor new staff
- Assist in budget management and financial management of resources
- Maintain a safe environment that complies with Health and Safety requirements
- Ensure compliance of policies in place
- Provide exceptional standard of childcare
You will:-
- NVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care or equivalent Registered Manager
- Have a least 2 years experience in a similar role
- Have a can-do attitude
- Be passionate about childcare
- Have staff management experience
