We are currently searching for a Registered Manager with a person-centred approach to join a small residential facility in Matlock.
Working with a specialised care provider with locations across the country as a registered manager, you would be responsible for the day-to-day running of a 42-bed residential home that puts its patients at the heart of everything it does.
As a Registered Manager, your role will be to ensure CQC requirements are met at all times and compliance is properly adhered to.
Your role will include:
- Developing a positive working environment which nurtures and rewards good practice through a programme of training and development.
- Manage the appraisals process and provide supervision to staff, ensuring all documentation is completed in a timely manner in line with Company procedures and standards.
Manage budgets to ensure resources are used to best effect, in line with company policy and procedure.
Effectively manage relationships with residents, families, local community and visiting professional bodies.
Be 'on-call', for emergencies, which may arise within the home, and to cover shifts if all other avenues have been exhausted.
- Complete RIDDOR and CQC notifications as required under regulation
For this Registered Manager role, you should have:
- Previous experience as a Care Manager of at least 12 months
- Minimum of a Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Basic admin and IT skills.
- A resilient and caring nature, committed to the continuous improvement of the site.
