Chase Recruitment has a career opportunity for an Operations Manager with experience in a Production or Manufacturing environment to step up to a business who have set the benchmark for quality in their sector.
You should be working as an Operations Manager currently, responsible for multiple functions, and be motivated by the challenge of ensuring the company continues to be the industry standard across their market.
The Role
- Day to day operational management across all areas of manufacturing and production
- Management and planning of staffing schedules
- Ownership of output and quality
- Review working practices to improve productivity, delivery, quality and performance
- Monitor planning, purchasing and the global supply chain.
The Ideal Person
- Must have a successful track record in a production or manufacturing environment
- Experience of working with low volume - high value products is an advantage
- Able to carry out supplier contract negotiations
- Assess training requirements and deliver staff development
