Chase Recruitment are looking to recruit a career minded Deputy Manager to join a home care team based in Leeds.
With genuine career progression on offer, you will play an instrumental role in the development and growth of a young business. This is a fantastic opportunity to manage and develop a service.
You will be brought in with the promise of a clear route to gaining Registered Manager status for the Home Care service.
You will be fully supported and have full autonomy without constraints or being micromanaged.
As the Deputy Manager, your role will be to ensure CQC requirements are met at all times and compliance is properly adhered to.
You will:-
- Be responsible for rota planning, scheduling and allocating
- Recruit care and support workers, and mentor, train and develop through a structured learning and development plan
- Understand the nature of a 24 hour service and to be flexible regarding working hours and patterns when required
- Support with business development opportunities
- Liase and build relationships with professional organisations
- Update and maintain all admin systems
- Deliver a quality service to your clients while ensuring maximum efficiency and productivity.
The ideal candidate will have:-
- Experience as a Deputy Manager/Care Coordinator role in domiciliary care
- Will be qualified to at least level 4 - Level 5 would be desirable but not essential
- A good understanding of CQC inspections
- Good knowledge of delivering a domiciliary care service
- A valid UK driving licence
- Experience of care planning and managing user records
- Solid budget management skills
