Care Manager, Non-Registered - Bedford - Circa £35,000

Based in Central Bedfordshire, we are looking for a Care Manager to take the reins of an independent living service supporting elderly people across four sites. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business with opportunities for development and progression.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and staff, ensuring that CQC care standards are met, and all clients are receiving care tailored to their individual needs.

Your main duties as a Care Manager will include:

  • Ensuring the service is performing according to CQC guidelines.
  • Provide new clients with a smooth transition to the service and a clear support package.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Provide direct management support to dedicated care team, including training and appraisals.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Previous experience of at least one year working in a management role within care.
  • Experience within a supported living or domiciliary care service.
  • Strong and clear understanding of CQC guidelines and relevant legislation.
  • Minimum of a Level 3 in Health and Social Care.
