Chase recruitment have a new and exciting opportunity to bring on an Area Manager for a fantastic service that is committed to providing the best opportunities for children in a residential setting in the Lancashire area, providing a safe and caring environment for young people with EBD and LD.

You will have the full support of a Managing Director who has had many years working in children's services and is passionate for you to further progress your skills and experience in this journey.

This is a role where you can make your mark and start a fresh - it's an exciting time of growth for our client, and you will play an integral role in it!

It is essential that applicants have had a minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager, have significant experience in the childcare sector and, most importantly have exposure of working with children with Learning Difficulties.

As an Area Manager, your role will involve:

  • Responsible for all Registered Managers and provide management support to the operations of the homes, delegating effectively and appropriately.
  • Ensuring high levels of productivity and best use of company resources through monitoring of rotas, management of agency usage, training, and attendance
  • Ensure that all administrative requirements of the home are maintained and are compliant with good practice, homes procedures, company policies and children's regulations
  • Support the process of establishing and maintaining a stable, competent, and motivated staff team throughout all homes. This will include completing management investigations and disciplinary hearings as and when required
